Measuring your bed
Put a tape measure inside the bed, from the inside of the bulkhead (front wall) to the inside of the closed tailgate. Round to the nearest inch — a 69" measurement is a 5'8" bed.
Bed length is measured inside the box, not along the outside of the truck.

Why Add a Camper Top to Your Truck?
A camper shell, also called a truck cap or topper, fully encloses your truck bed with a hard, weather-resistant shell. The benefits go far beyond keeping cargo dry. A quality camper top locks down your gear against theft, reduces wind drag for better fuel economy, and gives your truck a cleaner, SUV-inspired appearance. For truck owners who camp, overlanding enthusiasts, and tradespeople alike, a cap is one of the highest-value accessories you can add.
A.R.E. and LEER Camper Shells
H&H carries the complete lineup from two of the industry's most trusted names.
A.R.E. Truck Caps
A.R.E. is known for precision engineering and innovative design. Their lineup ranges from the budget-friendly V-Series to the sleek, modern CX Revo, which features the industry's first tailgate-formed rear door and frameless, screwless urethane side windows. The Z-Series and Z2-Series offer SUV-inspired styling with keyless entry and roof rack compatibility, while the MX Series adds mid-high roof clearance for extra cargo headroom.
LEER Truck Caps
LEER delivers a versatile range to match every use case. The best-selling 100S is a workhorse cap perfect for personal or light commercial use. The 100XL and 100XR step up the style with curved glass rear doors and skirted sides, while the 100XQ is LEER's most feature-rich cab-high model, complete with hidden hinges and an interior headliner. For those who need maximum space, the 122 High Rise delivers 40% more room than standard cab-high caps, ideal for camping and overlanding.

Cab-high designs keep your truck's sleek profile, while mid-rise and high-rise tops maximize usable storage space inside the bed.

Common Questions
What is the difference between a camper top and a tonneau cover?
A camper top (also called a truck cap or shell) fully encloses your truck bed with rigid walls and a roof, providing walk-in or stand-up storage. A tonneau cover lies flat over the bed without vertical walls, offering a lower-profile solution.
Can a camper top be paint-matched to my truck?
Yes. Both A.R.E. and LEER offer factory-matched paint options so your cap blends seamlessly with your truck's exterior color.
What is a cab-high vs. high-rise camper shell?
A cab-high shell sits level with the roofline of your truck's cab for a sleek, streamlined look. A high-rise or mid-rise shell extends several inches above the cab, providing significantly more interior clearance and cargo space.
Will a camper top fit my specific truck?
Camper tops are manufactured for specific truck makes, models, and bed lengths. The H&H team will confirm the right fit for your vehicle before ordering. Use the Year/Make/Model selector on this page or contact your nearest store.
Do camper tops lock?
Yes. Most camper tops include a locking rear door as standard, and many models support keyless entry upgrades for added convenience and security.
Will a camper top improve my truck's fuel economy?
A hard camper shell reduces aerodynamic drag over an open truck bed, which can modestly improve highway fuel efficiency depending on driving habits and truck configuration.
How long does installation take?
Most camper top installations are completed within a few hours at an H&H location. Custom paint-match orders may require additional lead time for the shell to arrive before installation.
