Truck Cap

The Z2 is the Z Series taken all the way. Front, side and rear glass are all frameless panels bonded in with automotive urethane, the same way a windshield goes into a car. That removes the aluminum frames, the fasteners and the seals that leak, and leaves a smooth unbroken surface. OneMotion handle, carpet headliner and the ActiveTilt dome light are standard.

How it differs from the line next to it

Against the Z Series: the Z has frameless rear and side vent glass but keeps a framed front; the Z2 is frameless everywhere, front included, and adds the optional pop-out vent window. Against the CX Revo, which also uses fully frameless bonded glass: the difference is the bodyshell, not the glass. Revo is the CX cab-height bodyshape, Z2 is the sleeker Z bodyshape. If someone is choosing between Revo and Z2, send them to look at both in person.

The detail

Material: Polyester resin laminate fiberglass over a low-filled resin fiberglass substructure. Glass is bonded in with automotive urethane in place of aluminum frames and fasteners.FiberglassAluminum
Doors & glass: Frameless front glass, frameless side glass, frameless rear window with hidden hardware. A frameless pop-out window is available if you want ventilation, since the standard side glass is fixed.
Finish: Automotive-grade paint matched to your truck's factory color as standard. Optional OTR UV-stable textured exterior finish.
Warranty: Limited lifetime on the fiberglass shell and mounting rails for the original owner. Paint warranted not to fade or peel faster than the truck's own. Frameless windows carry 1 year against the urethane seal leaking.
