The Overland is a fiberglass cap finished in two tones on purpose. The body is painted to your truck's color and the high-stress areas get a UV-stable textured black overlay, so the places that catch branches and gear do not show it. Half-slider side windows with screens, and a Yakima roof rack system is available for the gear that will not fit inside.

Why this one

How it differs from the line next to it

Structurally the Overland is a Classic-generation fiberglass cap like the CX Classic; what you are buying is the finish. The CX Classic is one color, painted, and optionally textured. The Overland is two-tone as standard, with the textured black deliberately placed where the cap gets abused. This is a finish and styling line, not a reinforced one; if you need real roof load capacity, that is the HD.

Who it suits

Overlanders, campers, hunters and anyone whose truck sees trails and gravel. If the cap is going to get brushed by branches and loaded on the roof, this is the finish that copes.

Finish
Automotive-grade paint matched to your truck's factory color, combined as standard with a UV-stable textured black overlay on the high-stress panels. That two-tone treatment is the point of the line, not an upgrade.
Warranty
Limited lifetime against manufacturing and material defects on the fiberglass body and mounting rails, and on the paint, for as long as the original owner keeps the cap. Spray-on protective coating: lifetime against cracking and bubbling, 3 years against fade and loss of luster. Gas props 5 years. Locks, hinges, windows, seals and brackets 1 year.
