A.R.E. MX Series

A.R.E. MX Classic Series

Mid-rise fiberglass cap: extra headroom over the bed, front vista glass.

Truck Cap

The MX sits above the cab line rather than level with it, which buys you headroom and cubic feet in the bed. The front vista glass is the giveaway from the outside. Otherwise it is A.R.E.'s Classic-generation build: aluminum-framed recessed sliding side windows with screens, a heavy-duty aluminum rear door, paint matched to your truck.

How it differs from the line next to it

MX and CX are the same caps in two roof heights. CX is cab height and follows the truck's own line. MX is mid height and stands proud of the cab for more room inside. A.R.E. confirms this pairing on the HD pages, which offer the HD build in 'mid-height MX Series and cab-height CX Series' profiles. Within the MX line, this Classic version uses framed glass throughout; MX HD is the same mid-height shape with an internal aluminum skeleton for load carrying.

Who it suits

Anyone who runs out of height in a cab-high cap. Dog boxes, camping setups, tall gear, contractors who stack material. Also the starting point if you want a walk-in rear door.
