Measuring your bed
Put a tape measure inside the bed, from the inside of the bulkhead (front wall) to the inside of the closed tailgate. Round to the nearest inch — a 69" measurement is a 5'8" bed.
Bed length is measured inside the box, not along the outside of the truck.

The decision is mostly about where the box goes and what it holds. A box on the front rack is in reach and in sight; a box on the rear rack keeps the weight behind you and leaves the front clear. Either way, a hard box beats a bag once you are riding through brush, crossing water or hauling anything with edges on it.
Check the listing against your machine before you order. Rack dimensions and mounting patterns vary widely between ATVs, and the box has to match what you actually have rather than what the picture looks like. Measuring your rack takes a minute and saves a return.

Will one of these fit my ATV?
Measure your rack first. Rack size and mounting layout differ a great deal between machines and between model years, so the practical check is the dimensions on the listing against a tape measure on your own rack. If your ATV has an unusual rack, take the numbers to one of our stores and have someone confirm before ordering.
Front rack or rear rack?
A front box is easy to reach and easy to keep an eye on, but it takes the space you might want for hauling and puts weight over the steering. A rear box keeps the weight behind the rider and leaves the front clear for a bag or a load. If you are only mounting one, most people put it on the back.
