These are vehicle-specific units, not a universal box you set on the floor and plug in. A heater built for a particular cab mounts where it is meant to go and puts the controls somewhere you can reach without taking your eyes off what is in front of you. Check the listing against your machine before ordering.

Cold weather changes what a vehicle is for. Something that sits from November to March because nobody wants to ride in it is not doing anyone much good, and heat is usually the only thing standing between that and year-round use. The same goes for anyone whose work does not stop when the temperature drops.

Rough Country is the only brand in this section and the range is small and specific. If your vehicle is not on the list, that is the answer, because there is no universal option here. Installation is available at all of our stores.

Will one of these fit my vehicle?

Only if it is listed for it. Every heater here is built for a particular cab, and the mounting points, the routing and the shape of the unit are all designed around that vehicle. Use the vehicle selector or check the listing. If your machine is not covered, there is no universal alternative in this section.

Can a store install it?

Yes. Professional installation is available at every H&H Truck & Outdoor store, and there are 22 of them across Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi and Florida. A cab heater is more involved than a bolt-on accessory, so if you are not set up for that kind of work it is a reasonable job to hand over.

Is a heater worth it for the few cold weeks we get?

That depends on what you use the vehicle for. If it sits parked all winter because nobody wants to ride in the cold, a heater turns those months back into usable ones. If you only take it out on nice days, it is a comfort purchase. People who work outdoors tend to decide quickly.
