Measuring your bed
Put a tape measure inside the bed, from the inside of the bulkhead (front wall) to the inside of the closed tailgate. Round to the nearest inch — a 69" measurement is a 5'8" bed.
Bed length is measured inside the box, not along the outside of the truck.

Two things to check before you order: whether the box clears a tonneau cover if you run one, and whether the listing includes a lock. Not every box does, and a box that does not lock is organization rather than security.
Common Questions
Behind the seat or in the bed?
It comes down to what you carry and how visible you want it to be. Behind-the-seat storage keeps tools out of the weather and out of sight, but it is limited to the space under and behind the seat. A bed box holds far more and gives up bed space to do it. Plenty of trucks end up with both.
Will a bed box work with my tonneau cover?
Sometimes. Low-profile boxes are built to sit under a cover and full-height ones generally are not. It depends on both pieces, so compare the box listing against the cover's clearance, or bring both model numbers to a store and have someone check before you buy either one.
Do these boxes lock?
Some do and some do not, and it is worth confirming on the listing rather than assuming. Where a box does lock, the lock is only as good as what it is bolted to. A box anchored to the bed is much harder to walk off with than one sitting loose behind the cab.
