Measuring your bed
Put a tape measure inside the bed, from the inside of the bulkhead (front wall) to the inside of the closed tailgate. Round to the nearest inch — a 69" measurement is a 5'8" bed.
Bed length is measured inside the box, not along the outside of the truck.

What is a bed retrieval pole?
A telescoping pole with a hook on the end. You extend it, hook the handle, strap or bag on whatever slid to the front of the bed, and pull it back within reach. It saves climbing over the side of the truck or crawling under a cover, which is harder on your knees and your paint than most people admit.
Does it work under a tonneau cover?
That is the main reason people buy one. With a cover in place you cannot get into the bed easily, so a pole that reaches through a partly open lid to the bulkhead is the difference between retrieving something in ten seconds and unlatching the whole cover to get one bag.
Where do I keep it?
