Measuring your bed
Put a tape measure inside the bed, from the inside of the bulkhead (front wall) to the inside of the closed tailgate. Round to the nearest inch — a 69" measurement is a 5'8" bed.
Bed length is measured inside the box, not along the outside of the truck.

The most common problem a tonneau creates is cargo that will not fit under it. Rack kits solve that by moving the load on top: tracks mount along the bed rails and the rack carries lumber, ladders or a kayak over the closed cover.

Common Questions
Can I put a rack on top of a tonneau cover?
On many covers, yes. Rack kits use tracks that mount along the bed rails, so the load rides above the closed cover rather than resting on it. The kit has to match the cover you own, since these are not universal. Truck Covers USA rack kits make up the bulk of what is listed here.
Why would I need a tailgate lock?
Because a locking tonneau still leaves the tailgate as the way in on most trucks. A tailgate lock closes that gap so the cover and the gate are both secured. Pop & Lock builds the ones we carry and they are sold by vehicle, so match the listing to your truck rather than buying on looks.
Can I run a headache rack and a tonneau at the same time?
