Measuring your bed
Put a tape measure inside the bed, from the inside of the bulkhead (front wall) to the inside of the closed tailgate. Round to the nearest inch — a 69" measurement is a 5'8" bed.

Almost everything here is brand-specific. A Westin bracket goes with a Westin board, a LUVERNE kit goes under LUVERNE steps, and the same holds for Go Rhino, ARIES, Lund, Big Country, Steelcraft and the rest. Mixing brands rarely works, and when it does it is by accident.
Two situations bring people to this aisle. The first is replacement: brackets rust, hardware gets lost, an end cap disappears on the highway and the board itself is still perfectly good. The second is a vehicle change, where a board moves to a different truck and needs a different bracket set to mount to it.

Common Questions
Can I use one brand of bracket with another brand of board?
As a rule, no. Bracket geometry, bolt spacing and the way a board attaches are all specific to the maker, so a Go Rhino bracket is not a substitute for a Westin one. Buy hardware from the same brand as the board, then match it to your truck's cab and bed configuration.
I lost the hardware but the board is fine. What do I need?
Look for the mounting or hardware kit listed for your board's model rather than a complete bracket set. Manufacturers often sell the fasteners on their own. If you can find a model number stamped or labeled on the board itself, that is the fastest route to the right kit.
What does an end cap do?
It closes off the open end of a running board or nerf bar. End caps take a beating from road debris and are one of the more common pieces people replace. They are sold per board model, so the replacement has to match the board rather than the vehicle it is bolted to.
