Utility Mat

Mats for the Garage, Shop and Cabinet

Not everything that needs a mat is a floorboard. This section covers utility and garage mats, trim-to-fit mats you cut down to the space you have, and under-sink mats for a kitchen cabinet. These are the pieces that catch drips, spills and tracked-in mess somewhere other than your carpet or the bottom of a cabinet.

Most of what is here is WeatherTech. The garage and utility mats are the large flexible panels people put under a workbench, in front of a door, or beneath a vehicle that drips. The SinkMat is that idea shrunk down for the cabinet under a sink, where a slow supply-line leak or a tipped bottle of cleaner does damage nobody notices for months.

Trim-to-fit mats are the flexible option. They come oversized with cut lines, so you size one to an odd space rather than hunting for a mat that happens to match it. Husky Liners and BedRug appear here as well.

If what you actually want is a mat cut for a specific vehicle floor, that lives in our floor mats and liners section instead.

Common Questions

What is a trim-to-fit mat?

It ships larger than the space and is made to be cut down. The material takes a utility knife or heavy shears along its molded guides, so you can size it to a garage bay, a bench area or a vehicle floor that no off-the-shelf mat matches. Cut it long the first time, because you can always take more off.

Can I use a utility mat in my truck?

You can, and trim-to-fit mats in particular are made for that kind of use. It will not sit as tightly as a liner molded for your specific floor pan, which is the tradeoff. If a close fit and coverage up the sides matter to you, look at vehicle-specific liners instead.
