Measuring your bed
Put a tape measure inside the bed, from the inside of the bulkhead (front wall) to the inside of the closed tailgate. Round to the nearest inch — a 69" measurement is a 5'8" bed.
Bed length is measured inside the box, not along the outside of the truck.

The systems here work in two parts. The drawer unit fills the bed and carries the weight. Modular cases then drop into it or ride on top, so a job or a trip gets packed as a unit and lifted out when you are done. The catalog lists case sizes from a small six-pack size up through half-rack size, in Ranger Green, Cool Gray, Blaze Orange, Tan and Black, which makes it easy to tell a recovery kit from a tool kit at a glance.

Common Questions
How is this different from a tool box?
A tool box is a single locking compartment you reach into. A storage system is organized: drawers that slide out to the tailgate, plus cases that hold a kit together so you can pull the whole thing out of the truck. It costs more space in the bed and gives you back a lot more order.
Can I still haul with a storage system installed?
Yes. These systems are designed so the surface above the drawers stays usable, which is the main reason people choose them over stacking boxes in the bed. What changes is bed depth, so measure first if you regularly carry something tall or load with a forklift.
Do the cases come in different colors?
Yes. The cases in this section are listed in Ranger Green, Cool Gray, Blaze Orange, Tan and Black. Color is more useful than it sounds. When several cases live in one truck, having the recovery kit in orange and the tools in gray saves opening the wrong one in the rain.
