CURT 16062 - 5th Wheel Hitches, Black, Carbon Steel

See it in action

Description

Take on every trip with confidence and peace of mind with the CURT A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Kit. Whether you’re planning a quick weekend getaway or a cross-country adventure, this hitch is engineered for strength, reliability, and a smoother towing experience from the very first mile. At its core, the A16 features a cast yoke with poly-torsion inserts, working together to absorb shock and cut down on road noise. A fully articulating torsion head further enhances stability, ensuring controlled, dependable coupling across highways, mountain passes, and uneven terrain alike. Connecting your trailer is designed to be simple and secure. An extra-wide head opening guides the kingpin into place, while the high-strength interlocking jaws wrap tightly for a quieter, more solid hold. The lockable handle resets automatically, and with dual-direction automatic latching, you’ll spend less time outside the cab when hooking up. Operation is also streamlined with an ergonomic lever arm and smooth-sliding action that prevents binding. Owners of short-bed trucks will appreciate the 12" of rearward travel, providing the clearance needed for sharper turns in campgrounds, gas stations, and other tight spaces. The hitch also offers three adjustable height settings and integrates with Ram puck systems, giving you a customized fit for your towing setup. Durability is built in. The A16 is tested to meet SAE J2638 safety standards, protected by a carbide powder coat finish that stands up to wear, and comes with a polyethylene lube plate for cleaner, hassle-free maintenance. When it’s time to remove the hitch, the one-pin head design lets you break it down into lighter, easier-to-handle pieces for storage or transport. The CURT A16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Kit blends heavy-duty construction with everyday usability, making it the ideal companion for drivers who demand both performance and convenience from their towing equipment.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ WOW – That’s How You Stand Behind Your Work H&H installed my airbags last year, and recently I ran into an issue where they stopped working. From the very first call, they were incredibly helpful and patient, walking me through troubleshooting over the phone trying to save me a trip. When we couldn’t get it resolved, I called first thing Monday morning and they had me scheduled right away. They got the truck in, diagnosed the issue, and replaced the parts — completely under warranty — no hassle, no excuses. A couple hours later I was back on the road. That’s rare service these days. Professional. Honest. Stand-up guys who truly stand behind their work. H&H is hands down the place to go for all your truck needs. 💪
