LEER 180

Mid-rise cap - up to 15% more cargo room than a cab-high, plus a bigger rear opening.

The 180 sits above the cab line. LEER puts it at up to 15% more cargo capacity than a cab-high cap, and the rear-door opening grows with it, which is the part you notice when you are sliding something long and awkward in. Sliding side windows, dark-tinted glass and a framed rear door with two T-handles.

Where it sits in the range

These are LEER's fiberglass camper shells - the recreational caps. All of them are molded to fit one specific truck, painted in Axalta automotive paint, and clamped on with J-bolts, so nothing gets drilled. What separates them is glass and height: how the side windows open, whether the rear door is frameless, and whether the cap sits level with the cab or rises above it.

How it differs from the line next to it

The 180 is the middle height. Cab-high caps (100R, 100S, 100XR, 100XQ, 100XL) finish level with the roof; the 180 steps up for about 15% more room; the 122 goes higher again for about 40%. Against the 180CC, the 180 has sliding side windows and a recreational lifetime warranty - the CC is the same height with solid sides, commercial reinforcement and a work-truck spec.

Who it suits

Someone whose loads are too tall for a cab-high cap - a dirt bike, stacked totes, a dog crate, kit that will not lie flat.
