The Turtlebox GEN 2 speaker was designed by reason of need. After the owners of Turtlebox noticed that every “loud” product out there gave in and broke down from there own personal adventures, they decided to create their own product, one which could handle their expectations of outdoor sound enjoyment. Thus was born the Turtlebox outdoor speaker. Boasting sound which can be heard over engines, wind, surf and more; this speaker is built to hold up against dirt, water, wind, sand and other typically harsh environments. Being active shouldn’t mean you can’t vibe out to some awesome jams, and the Turtle Box Gen 2 Speaker is down to keep you entertained. The use cases are limitless: hunting, fishing, surfing, ranching, climbing, camping, tailgating, sporting events, working out or backyard hanging. Providing 25+ hours of hi-fidelity, epic stereo sound, the Turtle Box Gen 2 features a powerful class D digital amplifier for premium listening, a 1″ titanium tweeter for crystal clear outdoor sound, a 6×9 woofer driver for powerful mids and deep bass, and a sound frequency curve designed for outdoor listening. Best experienced on a slightly elevated surface and positioned 10′ to 15′ away from listeners. Muti-sync connectivity using 5.0 Bluetooth standards allows multiple Turtle Box’s to be connected to your audio device, allowing you to provide sound for even larger areas. Each speaker includes a proprietary Turtlebox charger, starter guide, and access to some of their curated playlists.

Designed to be drop-proof and waterproof, the Gen 2 Turtlebox has a marine grade IP67 water ingress rating. Which means it is completely sealed from water and dust. You can toss this device into a pool, drop it in the lake, or spray it with mud. Full submersible up to a few feet, impervious to salt-water, and designed to float like a buoy. A rugged exterior casing makes it resistant to everyday wear and tear, drop-proof to reasonable expectations, and what some would call virtually indestructible. The Turtlebox Gen 2 usually charges to 100% in 3 to 4 hours, and can support the charging of other devices using a built-in USB-C out charging port (see notes below).

Notes:
Always keep the port cover closed around water. Do NOT allow your speaker to be exposed to any water or moisture while it is being charged or while it is plugged into a power outlet. Doing so can raise the risk of electric shock and also cause damage to your speaker. If the speaker is exposed to salt water, wash it off with fresh water after use. Treat it like a nice fishing reel. To charge your device using your Turtlebox speaker you’ll need to have a USB-C compatible charger. Plug the USB-C into the OUT charging port and connect it to your device. The Turtlebox charges iPhones and other devices. According to manufacturer knowledge, the only devices it will not charge are Android Pixel 4 and Pixel 6 devices. Larger devices like iPads and laptops will not charge.
