The 180CC is the mid-rise commercial cap: the extra height of the 180 with a work-truck build. Solid sides, a dark-tinted recessed rear door on two T-handles, structural reinforcement for a commercial roof rack, and a headliner with insulation and sound damping. The smooth side panels are sized for company graphics.

The commercial caps are built for a truck that works. Solid sides instead of glass, so nothing on show and a flat panel for lettering; structural reinforcement in the roof so it will carry a ladder rack; and interior lighting and toolbox layouts aimed at finding a tool in the dark. Note the warranty is different here - LEER's commercial fiberglass caps carry a five-year limited warranty, not the lifetime term on the recreational caps.

Against the 100RCC and 100SCC: same commercial build, but the 180CC is taller - roughly 15% more room, and a larger rear opening. Against the recreational 180: the 180CC swaps the sliding side windows for solid panels, adds roof reinforcement, and adds the insulated headliner and LED tube light. If the truck is a work truck and the load is tall, this is the one.
Trades whose kit does not fit under a cab-high cap - conduit, longer tooling, stacked bins - but who still want a closed, lettered, rack-ready unit.
