Truck Cap

Diamond Edition takes the commercial DCU and skins it in .063-inch diamond plate aluminum polished to a mirror finish, over the same .050-inch TIG-welded frame. It is the toughest-looking cap A.R.E. builds and the surface hides scuffs the way a toolbox lid does. Full-width rear doors ride on stainless steel strap hinges.

How it differs from the line next to it

It is the top of the three commercial aluminum caps, and the difference is entirely the skin. DCU is .035-inch smooth. DCU MAX is .063-inch smooth. Diamond Edition is .063-inch diamond plate, polished. Same frame, same doors, same 3-year warranty on all three. You are choosing thickness first and appearance second.

Doors & glass: Full-width rear doors on stainless steel strap hinges, plus full-length side doors. All doors sealed, gas-prop assisted and fitted with folding alloy T-handles with integrated locks.
Finish: Polished diamond plate aluminum as the signature finish. Custom paint matched to your truck's factory paint code is also available.
Warranty: 3-year limited warranty against structural and paint defects. Covers the unit body only: exterior skin, framework and mounting rails.
