Finally, BDS Factory Protection Plus means that if the kit shows the FMVSS No. 126 Compliant symbol, it has been rigorously-tested and is Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 126 compliant. The US Federal Government prescribes a highly specialized test regimen where a passenger vehicle under 10,000 lbs. GVWR must be able to pass, without losing control or rolling over – all the while, continuing to use the onboard electronic stability control. BDS has subjected many of their kits to this computer-controlled test and they have passed.
