The tubing is a 14-gauge steel for increased strength, and it features MIG welds for maximum rigidity. To make the Tuff Guard even tougher, we construct it from 409 stainless steel. A stainless steel construction allows it to easily withstand rust and the elements and provide long-lasting protection for your vehicle. We cover each Tuff Guard in a textured black powder coat for maximum corrosion resistance. To ensure the best fit possible and the highest quality, we manufacture each unit to be vehicle-specific, and we do it on American soil. Tuff Guard mounts using high-strength steel brackets that are designed for a custom fit on each application (NOTE: The bracket kit for attaching this bumper guard is sold separately). The brackets bolt into pre-existing holes in the vehicle to eliminate the need to drill into the frame, and they feature a durable black powder coat finish to ensure reliability job after job.
