The small 25mm x 30mm lighting plate allows for a universal fit in a majority of vehicle dome lights whereas larger LED plates are more vehicle specific. The Elite Dome Light offers maximum intensity and projects a modern Blue tone of light (6000K) through one 3 WATT high diffusion, high output LED. It's like having HID inside your car! The LED in the Elite Dome Light is mounted to a firm circuit board and has a built-in current limiting resistor that protects the LED from reversed polarity. Not only does the Elite Dome Light have a current limiting resistor, it also has a constant-current driver that provides protection from currents that are too high, which can happen when igniting the vehicle, or in older vehicles that just have high currents. The constant-current driver can automatically reduce the current to a safe range offering protection for the dome light and the socket. It is also sensor safe and will not activate warning lights. The included adapters will fit virtually any dome light bulb socket.
