Custom Trailer Hitches

Custom Trailer Hitches at H&H Truck Accessories

Each hitch is in a class of its own. Depending on what you’re towing, and how much weight you plan to tow, you’ll need the proper class hitch for the job. Classes range from 1-5 and are based on both receiver size and towing capacity.

If you own a full-sized truck or SUV, you’ll most likely need a class 3 trailer hitch. These reliable hitches can handle up to 8,000 lbs, so they’re perfect for carrying around a 3,000 lb s trailer for your next camping trip.

H&H doesn’t just carry class 3, of course. We carry all classes of hitches to tackle all sorts of different jobs. If you have a large boat or RV that needs transporting, you can get a class 4 hitch, which can pull up to 10,000 lbs – perfect for larger boats or pulling your Jeep out to the woods.

Class 5 hitches exist and are considered “Xtra Duty” and can pull up to as much as 17,000 pounds. These only fit specific truck applications, built to handle such loads. In recent years, many ¾ and 1-ton pickups are beginning to use 2.5” receiver class 5 hitches for commercial duty jobs. 3” receivers also exist on trucks like the Ford F-450, for example.

Whatever you need to take with you, we carry a hitch that can handle it. Even if you already own a hitch, you can also check out our hitch accessories, including adjustable ball mounts, standard and locking hitch pins, and even trailer locks and parts.

Whether you want something standard, a class 4 trailer hitch, or even a gooseneck or fifth wheel to handle heavy-duty jobs, you can find plenty of options in our online catalog.

The guys were able to order and install a 2 inch hitch for our X1 within a week. Prices were very reasonable and crew were very friendly and courteous. Their store also sells other accessories for trucks, spas and even BGE smokers
